"Harvest Moon"
Does one's imagination or scientific optical formulation portray the moon as larger than life?
The Harvest Moon as you probably know is the full moon at or around the
time of the autumnal equinox. It was given that title because it seems so
bright that crops could be harvested well into the night. However all full
moons seem larger at the horizon because the atmosphere is actually
thicker for our viewing, at that location so the atmosphere behaves sort
of like a magnifying glass. Oil
