"Cave Dwellers"
I had been asked if I was painting penis's when I did the mushrooms in this painting.
Interesting , considering I was just trying to think of a food that would grow in a cave.
I was trying to portray the feeling of another world which is the feeling
I get every time I venture into a cave. As you can see here the local
residents carve the stalactites and stalagmites into dwellings and
architectural structures they deem fashionable for their culture. I'm not
sure how much cream of mushroom and bat guano soup I could stand though. Oil - 24" x 36"
